The McGowan Government has released the finalised strategy to reconnect the Great Northern Highway through to Fitzroy Crossing.

Assessments have indicated that the bridge will need to be fully replaced, and over the next coming weeks barges and a low-level floodway crossing will be installed.  

"They're talking about barging vehicles across, so I am assuming that the other parts of the roads past Fitzroy Crossing are okay," Millsy said on 6PR Breakfast.
