The AFL's recent tradition of playing music in between goals at fixtures and finals this year is set to be ditched for Saturday's 2022 Grand Final between Sydney and Geelong.

There are reports on Tuesday morning that the MCC is not keen on the practice, and the MCG has received hundreds of complaints. 

6PR sports presenter Mark Readings told Michael Genovese on 6PR Breakfast the AFL was set to drop the practice.
