Popular Hillarys nightclub Bar 1 has confirmed they are banning red shoes after Two Left Feet told the John Hughes Rumour File about the rumour this morning.

Owner of Bar 1 Malcolm Pages told 6PR Breakfast the ban was made as red shoes are a typical favourite of the Eshay community.

Mr Pages hopes the decision will reduce the amount of trouble at the club which is often attributed to Eshay youth.
