Huge crowds lined the streets of the British capital to catch a glimpse of The Queen on the Buckingham Palace balcony as the Platinum Jubilee festivities kicked off.

Trooping the Colour signalled four days of celebrations for the Jubilee, with Prince Louis stealing the early limelight on the balcony next to other members of the royal family.

Talk TV Royal Correspondent Sarah Hewson told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast celebrations were happening around the UK, with the balcony appearance a particular highlight.

"Prince Louis was pulling all kinds of faces... it was pretty noisy and the Queen was talking him through it," she said.
