Nick Kyrgios is through to the Wimbledon men’s final after Rafael Nadal sensationally pulled out of the tournament due to an abdominal muscle tear.

6PR tennis correspondent Craig Gabriel told Breakfast host Mark Gibson it is the first time an Australian has played a Wimbledon final since Lleyton Hewitt 20 years ago, when he went on to win the title.

"Everyone wants to be in a Wimbledon final, but you don't want to get there this way," Gabriel said.
