The process behind ordering WA school leavers' wristbands is set to change following criticism from last year of kids having to wait for hours in line.

Last year listeners contacted 6PR, saying that the hour-long waits were slowed down by the leavers' vaccination information not being uploaded.

Divisional Superintendent Dom Wood for the Community Engagement Division told Gareth Parker that the change would take place from this weekend.
