One punch victim Danny Hodgson has been slapped with legal action from debt collectors Baycorp over an unpaid ambulance bill from the day he was attacked at Perth Train Station. 

Danny was left fighting for his life after the coward punch attack, where he now lives with permanent brain damage and the debt collectors knocking at his door.

Nicola Hodgson, Danny's mother, told 6PR Breakfast that the bill originally landed on Danny's doorstep just a fortnight after the attack, while he was in intensive care.

"Obviously Danny has tried to contest it by sating he was a victim of crime in an unprovoked attack - but Danny has been hit with the bill," Ms Hodgson said.
