Jetstar's CEO has said that Busselton is now the 22nd domestic destination in its network, with the first flight taking place on Wednesday. 

The first direct flight from Melbourne to Busselton touched down on Wednesday morning.

The route was due to commence in March 2020 but was postponed several times due to border closures and COVID complications.
