West Australian Minjee Lee has won her first US Open with a record-breaking four-shot win at Pine Needles in North Carolina.

Lee shot a 13 under, the lowest 72 hole score in a spectacular win in her second major tournament.

During Sport, Paddy Sweeney told 6PR Breakfast that it means the Fremantle star will walk away with the richest prize in women's golf at almost $2.5 million.
