All-Australian defender Luke Ryan says his teammates have been challenged to stick to their role ahead of Saturday's anticipated match against Melbourne at the MCG.

The Dockers face the reigning premiers before a clash with second-placed Brisbane at home in a fortnight of football that will frame their premiership credentials in 2022. 

"We got a good wake-up call, had a pretty good meeting, and now ready to move on to the biggest challenge in footy," Ryan told host Gareth Parker in his regular Thursday segment on 6PR Breakfast.
