A FIFO worker has made a desperate plea to find his beloved Landcruiser ute that was stolen recently and has much sentimental value.

FIFO worker Baz told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast the custom-built white Toyota Landcruiser single cab ute built was inherited from his mum after she passed away.

It was stolen from a car storage compound in Redcliffe on Monday and spotted bogged in Ellenbrook but is now missing again.

"If I can get this car back... I will make it my life's work to rebuild this vehicle in my mum's honour and continue the journey with it," he told Parker.

The car had a personalised Queensland number plate KIM62 when it stolen.
