Daytime robberies are occurring openly and regularly across Perth, leaving the public bewildered and baffled as to why nothing is being done about it.

Shelley sent one of several emails to 6PR Breakfast on the issue, relaying theft was rife at her regular Woolworths store in Wellard.

"The word is spreading that you can just walk in, take what you want, and walk out," she told host Gareth Parker.
