A childish, desk-banging outburst during a local council meeting broadcast on Zoom has damaged the administration's reputation after it went viral overnight.

Mayor Keri Shannon, who was forced to deflect much of Councillor Rod Bradley's angst, told Gareth Parker on Wednesday the fact his outburst had gained national media attention was not a good outcome for the City. 

"It's completely unfortunate and it's not appropriate ... I'm concerned it might be resulting from the pressure of running for the candidacy," she said.
