Cameron Wrathall survived a bull shark attack in Perth's Swan River two years ago, he suffered a broken hip, nerve damage and had to learn to walk again after the ordeal. 

Mr Wrathall is disappointed a shark barrier still hasn't been installed in the river, although the Melville council says they are still working on the project. 

"It would just be enclosing an area like they do on the coast, and it would make it a safer area for swimmers," Mr Wrathall told 6PR Breakfast.
