On Monday, Ford told 6PR Breakfast that it was incredible that the 'Splendour In The Grass' festival was allowed to go ahead with the dangerous weather conditions.

"I know the whole concept of mud and the music festival goes hand in hand," Fordy said.

"This was beyond that,

"There were stories of people waiting 12 hours just to get in to set up their campsite, and people couldn't get out even if they wanted to leave."
