This upcoming Spring, the City of Ottawa will be examining its winter maintenance standards, a topic that is gaining steam on the CFRA text board following a series of weather events in January. Residents are growing frustrated over tall snow banks and cleanup efforts on driveway edges, a problem that councillor Tim Tierney addressed on today’s Ottawa Now. The Chair of the Transportation Committee says crews are struggling to keep up due to the sheer volume of snow, adding that a long February and a long March could be on the horizon.
