The City of Ottawa is mulling over ‘real-time detection A.I.’ for OC Transpo security cameras. It currently has 10,000 cameras in its arsenal, and Artificial Intelligence would be able to keep watch over city buses and transit stations to keep riders safe. Brian Mishara was heavily involved in a similar pilot project for Montreal’s transit system. He joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
