Irene Deschenes was first abused by Father Charles Sylvestre when she was just 10 years old, at St. Ursula Catholic School in Chatham, Ont.

Decades later, her legal fight with the Roman Catholic Church is still going on, and she is now urging the Catholic diocese to drop the Supreme Court appeal.
