For many Canadians, Father’s Day is a time to appreciate our father figures and reflect on the positive lessons they have taught us. However, if you grew up in Canada’s residential school system, there wasn’t much of anything to celebrate. In recognition of the 215 Indigenous children discovered in Kamloops, and all of the missing children who have not been found, a truck rally is being organized in the Ottawa Area to show support for the communities affected by Canada’s residential schools. Roger Steepe, the organizer of this powerful event, joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
