Our mom has recently told us that she has updated her will since our dad walked out on us a few years ago. She has signed her whole estate over to our oldest brother.

We expressed concerns because he has got a massive drinking problem, he has had for at least 10 years. He is much older than us, relies on his girlfriend to financially support him and we are concerned that he would squander any inheritance he gets.

Despite all of this, our mom wants to do it “the traditional way” by handing her estate to the oldest sibling.
