The big fart science experiment is still on, the question to be answered is ‘can a fart travel across the country?’ 5Drive is setting out to answer this all-important question. Inspired by childhood shenanigans where his brothers would make him open jars that they had deposited flatulence into, Nick Hamman has long since been curious about how far this experiment could stretch.

This February they are going to answer the question as they attempt to follow a fart’s journey across the country, from Cape Town to Joburg. Listen as Nick chats to Mier, who is  currently on day 2 of transporting the jar in his car. Can he smell anything, is the jar still one piece?
