There are people who spend their early twenties trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives. And then there’s our next guest, who at 20 has apparently decided: “Cool, I’ll just
sing the songs, write the songs AND produce the songs.” Max More has been quietly building some serious momentum in South African pop. His song “High” spent more than 24 weeks on the 5FM Top 40, topped the Indie Chart for three consecutive weeks, and then “Hot & Heavy” went to
number one on the Indie Chart too.

Now he’s back with a brand-new single called “Cherry”; and this one might be the clearest picture yet of exactly who Max More wants to be as an artist. Max, welcome to 5 Breakfast.
