Tomorrow is Mandela Day, and while a lot of people will be asking, “What can
I do with my 67 minutes?”, we’ve got a slightly louder answer for you. Guitars. Drums. Big hearts. And probably at least one person in the crowd pretending they know every lyric.

Tomorrow night is MandelPalooza -our fundraising event in support of Baby Sacha and her family  happening at Bailey’s in Bedfordview, with Shortstraw, Black Cat Bones and CrashCarBurn all on the lineup.

And because we are nothing if not committed to making Friday morning feel like a backstage pass, we’ve got some of the humans responsible for the noise, the gees and the goodness in studio with us this morning. From Shortstraw and Black Cat Bones, welcome to 5 Breakfast. We’re going to talk about tomorrow night, why the bands jumped in, what people can expect, and because they didn’t come here just to sit in chairs and be emotionally available; they’ll also be performing for us live in studio.
