Olivia tells us more about the recently reported “baby recession” - which see’s people postponing or forgoing having children due to cost of living pressures; growing inequality between Australia’s richest 1 percent and those supporting a wealth tax on those with over $50 million of wealth; and a warning from Centrelink that recipients may need to amend their tax returns even if they have already lodged them.

For our Local Issues segment: Liberal MP for Herbert, Phillip Thompson, joins to elaborate more on his recent accusations that the Australian Defence Force are lagging behind the major sporting codes in protecting personnel from serious brain injuries. Philip talks about his own experiences serving in the defence force and the protocols that he thinks should be implemented to help veterans.
