The price of Aussie seafood could soon be out of reach for everyday families with warnings only the wealthy might be able to afford wild-caught fish in the near future.
The industry says soaring fuel costs and shrinking supply, are pushing local operators to the brink, with some even considering importing seafood for the first time in decades.
So, is this just a rough patch or are we watching the slow collapse of Australia’s wild-caught seafood industry?
