Natoli also commented on the Federal Court's decision to rule in favour of a Native Title Claim on the Sunshine Coast.

The Queensland Government has announced a review of the state’s hospital build program which is more than $13 billion over budget and with delays expected beyond 2028.

Could this lead to job cuts and what about the dire shortage of beds in our hospitals?

Infrastructure Partnerships Australia CEO Adrian Dwyer told Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive, 'two years ago, we warned the then Queensland Government that the program they announced could not be delivered on the schedule they said for the price they said.'

'There was a bit of an admission around some cost overruns before the election but nothing like the scale of reality,' Dwyer said.

'The Health Minister to his credit has taken this on and said actually we need to know what's under the bonnet, we need an independent look at this, we need to scrutinise it and they've hired some people to do that today so we welcome the announcement.'

There has been widespread debate about the plan for Brisbane's 2032 Olympic stadium, but in light of the new review all fingers are pointing at Victoria Park.

Sue Bremner, former Deputy Lord Mayor David Hinchliffe and their friends want to Save Victoria Park.

Ms. Bremner told Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive, 'Brisbane has the least amount of green space out of any capital city in Australia. That blew me away when I found that statistic.'

'We need that green space to breathe, for the whole of Brisbane to breathe.'

Mr. Hinchliffe told Shane Doherty on 4BC Summer Drive, 'I can't believe that in the year 2025, this big, beautiful, international city that's about to show itself off to the world is contemplating ripping up, bulldozing a precious piece of parkland.'
