Today, the Reserve Bank of Australia has cut interest rates by 25-basis points.

The big four banks have announced they would pass on the 0.25 per cent cut to customers.

Gary Hardgrave said on 4BC Drive, "Interest rates are not the only thing. They're not the only thing in our economy. They're just one thing. And the price of living is rising."

"The Prime Minister wants us to think the economic misery that his policies have actually inflicted on all of us is behind us now because the interest rates have gone down by 0.25%, five minutes of economic sunshine."
