Griffith University Political Scientist, Paul Williams, arguing Opposition Leader Peter Dutton will never become Australia's prime minister.

Williams believes that by the time 2025 rolls around, Dutton will be leading the coalition to a resounding loss at the federal election. Dutton's no stance towards The Voice referendum will be the catalyse to his downfall according to the Associate Professor.

He expects the current deputy leader Sussan Ley to become the leader of the LNP.
