Magic Round kicks off tonight with Women’s State of Origin, followed by a series of blockbuster NRL games. 

Brisbane first hosted the event in 2019, and is locked in to host it until 2027, however, there is no guarantee it will continue in the River City beyond that. 

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "Three years is a long time and we want to continue to build and make Magic Round even more special."

"When the time's right, we'll have a conversation around where Magic Round goes afterwards."

"People do enjoy travelling to see games at Suncorp Stadium."

"So we don't take that for granted, but obviously nothing is locked in beyond 2027," Mr Abdo continued.
