One of the world’s most iconic board games is getting a distinctly Garden City makeover. MONOPOLY: Toowoomba Edition is officially underway, with locals being invited to help decide which landmarks, institutions and hidden gems will feature on the board when it launches in 2026.

From Queens Park and the Empire Theatre to Picnic Point and St Patrick’s Cathedral, the game will celebrate the places and stories that make Toowoomba unique. 

Dale Hackett, Head of Partnerships, from Winning Moves, the company behind the local edition, joined Damo this morning.
