Julie Houghton speaks with Robert Dora, Artistic Director and conductor of the Australasian Orchestra and composer, Hugh Crosthwaite about their 2026 Winter Concert, Prelude & Tragedy featuring the Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Prélude l’Après-midi d’un fauna (Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun) by Claude Debussy and a brand new orchestral suite written for the orchestra by Hugh Crosthwaite, entitled The Island of Dr Moreau.
