Chris Howlett, Director Classical Music Australia speaks with Susie May about Daniel Hope, the renowned British violinist mentored by Yehudi Menuhin, and who performs on a remarkable 1742 “ex-Lipínski” Guarneri del Gesù violin. The Melbourne concert features music by Enescu, Fauré and Dvořák, alongside Mendelssohn and Elgar’s Violin Sonata.
