Today Tim reflects on the passage from 1 Peter where we are told to 'cast all your anxiety on Him'.  In the original Greek text, "casting" is related to the concept of "humble yourselves". This means that casting your anxiety on God is the practical way you humble yourself.  Admitting that a burden is too heavy for you—and throwing it onto God—requires you to lay down your self-sufficiency and trust His sovereignty instead.
