Seattle makes a trade

John Middlekauff is back with another episode of 3 & Out, breaking down two major NFL trade storylines before welcoming college football insider Bud Elliott for an in-depth conversation about the future of college football.

John discusses the Seattle Seahawks trading for Quenton Nelson and the San Francisco 49ers trading for DeForest Buckner, examining what the moves could mean for both teams and how these acquisitions could impact their chances moving forward.

Then, John sits down with Bud Elliott to discuss the biggest questions facing college football. They break down the College Football Playoff, debate where the money is coming from in college football, and explore the possibility of a college football super conference. They also discuss what's next for Lincoln Riley and USC, reveal Bud's projected College Football Playoff teams, and debate whether going 9-3 could become the new 12-1 in an evolving college football landscape.

Plus, they examine the pressure on Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, whether his seat is getting hotter, and what the expectations surrounding Arch Manning mean for the Longhorns moving forward.
