Federal Liberal Candidate for Gilmour and former NSW Treasurer, Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Andrew Constance, joins Bill Woods to dissect the major issues of the week in Federal Politics. Today, they analyze the smorgasbord of environmental issues that are predicted to arise from the controversial decision to approve an offshore wind farm in the NSW Illawarra, including the deaths of endangered species.  
They also touch on how the Coalition's Promise to build seven nuclear powered reactors throughout Australia by 2050 stacks up against Labor's plan to power the grid entirely through renewables.

While an increase in initiatives and media discussion around men's mental health have led to more men speaking up, there remains considerable work to be done to resolve gender inequity in this space.

The number of suicide deaths remain approximately three times higher in males than females and men are far more likely to die as a result of alcohol and drug use.

Only a quarter of men said they would be likely or very likely to seek help from a mental health professional if they experienced an emotional or personal problem and almost 25% said they would not seek help from anyone. 

Doctor Cate Howell OAM is a GP, therapist, and educator. She works as a General Practitioner with Defence, and also has a private practice focusing on mental health and various teaching activities. 

She also co-authored a book with her son called The Changing Man: A Mental Health Guide.

She joined Luke Grant to discuss how the taboo around men's mental health is starting to dissipate and what still needs to be done to stop the horrific phenomenon of people taking their own lives.
