189 Riverview Road, Avalon Beach NSW 2107

6 Bed | 5 Bath | 2 car - Price Guide: $18 million
Jamie Durie’s incredible six-bedroom waterfront home in Avalon Beach, known as Belah House, but locals have nicknamed it the “Hanging Gardens of Avalon” because of the cascading greenery down the block.
Jamie bought the property in 2015 for $2.275 million and then spent years transforming it into this extraordinary eco-focused home.
It originally came to market last year asking $33 million, was later reduced to $28 million, and is now heading to private auction with an $18 million guide.
So that’s a whopping $15 million reduction from where expectations started.
And there's plenty of wow factor: Pittwater views, an infinity pool, cinema, wine cellar and rooftop garden, plus a wellness retreat with its own gym, sauna, steam room and it even has deep-water frontage, a private jetty and a self-contained guest house.
Jamie Durie has called it his “life’s best work” and a “legacy house”, but with his family moving to their farm in the Northern Rivers, they're now ready to hand it over to a new custodian.
