ARL Commission boss Peter V’landys has outlined plans for the North Sydney Bears to end their 25 year NRL hibernation, by basing the club in Western Australia. 

“The Perth Bears is the ideal partnership... By the end of June, we will be in a position as a game to make a call on expansion.,” Peter V’landys says.

People who work in the travel industry are saying that South Korea is Asia’s next hottest destination. 

It’s becoming so popular, some are even suggesting it may surpass  Japan as the most visited destination for Aussies in the region. 

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), says the number of Australians holidaying to South Korea is now 35 per cent above the pre-pandemic figures from 2019.

But what is it that is causing this huge surge in popularity?

Why South Korea is Asia’s new hottest destination for Aussie travellers

Two Aussie melanoma experts are saying patients shouldn’t be undergoing a commonon diagnostic test called a “sentinel lymph node biopsies” (SLNB) on patient’s patients’ lymph glands, particularly on those under 40 years and over 60 years of age.

They say the results are not an accurate predictor of mortality and that many patients are being mismanaged, with potential side effects such as nerve damage.

Their findings, which now have the backing of many in the international medical community, say that patients should instead use a BAUSS score, which they say is more accurate and less invasive.

Luke Grant chats with one of the experts, Professor Anthony Dixon of the Global Melanoma Initiative, about why the BAUSS is a better indicator and if this is how Luke should have had his melanoma treated.
