Australians living with endometriosis, a common and chronic condition that can cause crippling pain and infertility, will soon have access to the first treatment to be subsidised for their condition by the Federal Government in more than three decades.
From today, VISANNE (dienogest) will be available through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) for Australians living with endometriosis.
Luke Grant chats with Co-Founder of EndoActive and mother of an endometriosis sufferer, Lesley Freedman about what this announcement means for women living with this debilitating condition, which remains, sadly, without cure.
