Described as “profound”, “mesmerising”, “bracing and transformative", the award winning play, Yentl has extended its run at the Sydney Opera House due to popular demand.
Set in 1870 in a small town in Poland, Yentl follows the journey of a young woman who refuses to live by the Jewish orthodox tradition, which forbids females from studying scripture.
Luke Grant chats with actors Amy Hack and Evelyn Krape about the acclaimed production.
