Psychosexual therapist and scientific researcher Anna Kelberg answers all your questions about cheating in relationships.
Listener’s question: My partner and I have shared a strong bond for years, so it was a shock to learn that he had been engaging in sexual activities with someone else. Now, he insists that they didn't have sex, so in his view, it wasn't cheating. He was at a party without me, and things got a little out of hand. He ended up in a game of 'truth or dare', and things escalated to a point where he was involved in some pretty intimate acts. When he told me about it, he was adamant that it wasn't infidelity because they didn't actually have sex. Is this cheating?
