I hear that you're crazy, Katley best. I love cats, Cat Bass Cat, two Girls, three Cats, congratulations, keep you going your transformation into crazy Katley.
Welcome, we're back. It's two Girls, three cats.
We're back.
We're back. We're like a cat that's been missing for like months and that just shows up back on your doors.
Yeah. Did you hear that recent story and it was like this cat that's been missing for twelve years and it's just arrived back at its home.
I did not. I love this with straight into it.
I know. I know. Well, that's all I know about as soon as I read a headline, that's enough for me.
Sometimes, though, you read a headline about cats and you're like, no, I don't want to know.
No too much, I know, because like, imagine losing your cat for twelve years. I couldn't.
No, No, I can't imagine that, and I refuse to imagine.
Yes, Connie is never leaving my house never.
Jenna, I've missed you. Do you too. I've had people coming up to be in the street and saying, what's happening with the podcast?
I've had people ask me how is the podcast?
And all these people clearly don't know that we've been on hiatus. Yes, yes, is that the right word hiatus? I think so, because it wasn't our choice. I guess it was more the studio that we were in. It was an unintentional hiatus. Yes, yes, So we're both busy executive working women.
Yep, that's it.
It makes us sound like that's us were to really high CEOs. But we have been in all seriouses. We have been both quite busy. But we did get integrated because we've got brand new studio.
Yes, and oh my god, how bright is it?
So bright?
I love it.
It's actually been so long since we recorded one of our lovely podcasts that I actually have different colored hen.
Yes, you pointed that out, and I was like, how did I not notice?
But also since I was blonde, i've actually been pink. So I was, and now I'm a copper. I'm a redhead.
I'm a red head.
Yeah, and so that this is like two hair colors ago. Yes, but I look adorable in the cartoon. I know, it's such a cute cartoon. She's cute. And also seeing you know, the cartoon of our cats.
On the big screen, they are delicious, They're so cute.
So much has happened since we last recorded.
Yeah, so much cat related stuff or as always, Like you said, where shall we start? I have no idy hear?
Can I start with my big news because I'm just itching to tell you this?
Okay cat?
No, I almost did when I actually when I turned my hair copper, I then decided I needed a ginger cat to go with it. But yes, husband was like, dude, come on, we don't have the space. We still don't have the space.
What a spoils for?
I was like, yeah, but to go with the hair, which is I get it. That's not a valid reason to get a cat. I get it. But still still I would have loved it regardless of its hair color. But no, the real exciting news that I have to do with cats is the most on brand, coolest thing I might have ever done in my entire life. I was the voice of a Whiskers ad.
How amazing. So it was hang Lary lights on, Well what in our new studio there's literally party lights. It's like you're at your local RSL club. It's great.
It's weird because then you don't know what to stop. There we go, I don't know professional professional, So yeah, I got so long story short, but before Christmas, I was asked to do a demo to be a cat's voice on an ad. Not a cat, the cat's voice.
Oh I want you to be the cat? Yeah?
No, no it was. I was. I was playing the cat and I was a sarcastic cat and I thought I nailed it. And anyway, then earlier on this year, the same guy came to me Anthony, we love you. He came to me and he said, could you record for a Whiskers ad? And I was like, uh, yeah, yes I could, thinking I was going to be the sarcastic cat. No, I was the actual voice of the Whiskers ad.
How amazing is that? All around the country. I've heard it on Joint, Namanda, It's been on a lot. I think it's been on Kyle and check your as well.
It's been everywhere.
It's gone global.
It's gone global.
It's viral. And the tagline for it was que the Purse. Such a great tagline.
So if only listeners did hear that, please hit me up because honestly, it's my biggest claim to fame. I'm so proud of it.
And it's a great ad.
It's all great ad. It was actually like behind the scenes stuff, which I won't go too much into because honestly, we'll be here all day. But it was the original recording was with a three D mic, so you know that with the ears it's like a microphone with ears on each side. And I had to walk around the room as though I was feeding cat, like walking around the kitchen's and then I had to like crouch down at the end and go cue the Purse. I love it, and I was incredibly proud of it, as you should be. That's amazing. In fact, let's just play it now. Yeah, Whiskers knows a p is a beautiful thing. It's the ultimate seal of approval. So funny. A food that brings out their purse is priceless. Take your cat's head to the next level by feeding them delicious flavors at great value. Whiskers, cue the purse. Some free advertising for Whiskers.
There. I love it. I could listen to that all day. I am so proud of my whole done.
Okay, let's talk about you. What have you been doing?
Oh you know I went to the Easter Show last week?
Oh? How was that?
Yes, So, for those unfamiliar with the Easter Show or those who don't live in Sydney. It's pretty much just an agricultural fair type of thing that we have once a year. And on the day I went was the cat demonstration. Who thought you would have gone that day? I know who would have thought in their right mind. But I decided, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna do something different. I'm gonna watch cat judging.
I love this for you.
Oh my god, what a day I had.
I feel like it's your destiny to become a cat judge.
Oh my god. As soon as I'm watching. So, I was watching this guy and I think he traveled from Germany to judge this specific competition. And I was watching best Kitten in Show and all the different variations of kittens. Oh my god, I cannot express how adorable these kittens were. So the winning kitten was a ragdoll obviously, yes, yes, I thought of you and your girls. And just the way that this judge can hold all these cats. It's so satisfying to watch, and I decided to replicate it at home. Hence why I've got scratches all over me. Connie was not happy with me, but I still have in my heart, the hope that maybe one day she will be an Easter Show winning cat Best in Show. She deserves it.
I love it when they go like that.
I know, I know in their long tail, yes, whiskers, perfect snout, Yes, that's what they do, and they just sort of stretched them out and the cat's just quite happy, just like this is not They literally stretch them like a sausage.
I love the Easter Show and in Brisbane it's called the echer have one.
I think they might have like a royal agriculture, but I don't think it's during the East.
See. I love them because obviously I love to go and see the cats, but I'm allergic to everything, as you know, so I can't go. So I realized this year, Oh, I was going to go and see the cats, but actually I realized that no, because I'm allergic to everything else there. It's not good for your head, it's not good for me. So yeah, so I didn't miss that. I didn't go to that this year, but you know what I did do?
What did you do?
You know how we've been talking for a while about how we want to get our cats on to leads and take them for walks.
Yeah.
I was Downe in my local cafe the other day and there was a cat there. No, there was a lead. There was a cat on a lead.
You saw, you witnessed a cat on a lead.
So in Sydney it's like a big culture, isn't it. You go out for coffee and you take your dog and it's like a whole thing, like everyone does it right. Yeah, Never before have I seen a cat it was not just a cat with a kitten, and it was one of those gross, squishy like British short hair I think it was. They're so cute, gray, stunning eyes.
I can see it there.
Oh my goodness, absolutely stunning. It's reinvigorated my desire to get the cats on the lead.
Oh my god.
So maybe I'm gonna bring this back.
How do your cats react to harnesses?
They don't. I keep buying them and giving them away one yeah, So I keep buying them and trying it and they're like absolutely not, and then I give it to someone else. Yeh. And I'm on like the fourth lead or something now. So I decided, yes, I'm going to do it, and I thought Blossom, she's the one, she's the more outgoing one to try and she refuses really, and I just I'm not the kind of person that's happy putting them out of their comfort zone. Like I immediately, I'm like, it's fine, it's fine, we won't do it. We won't do it. Let's do something else. Yeah, but I think we need to. I think this could be the new thing for us.
I think it's worth the tribe because I know that Connie isn't a fin of the harness, so I use the harness to cut her nails good and things like that. She just flops, so you know, she is not a fan of the harness, but you know when they just go flop for I know, literally, but you know what, She's hated things in the past and growing to love them. So this could be something that we work on.
I think. So, Yeah, I think that we should do this. I mean, unfortunately we're not allowed to bring cats into this new studio.
No animals at all, no animals.
But yeah, they let you in the other thing that's happening. Yeah, today, what's today? Today? April eleventh. If you're listening to this on a later date, just so you know that the day that this was recorded was April the eleventh. Happy National Pet Day. Oh my god, Happy National Pet Day to all the pet lovers and all the pets and all the pets just cats, not just cats, because we're not just exclusive to cats here.
No.
I know this because iHeartRadio, which is who I work for, launched pet Radio.
That's so cool.
We're just smart. I love that.
So what exactly is pet Radio?
That is a very good question, Jenna, What is exactly pet Radio? It is a pet friendly radio station that plays calming noises. Curated station features gentle melodies, calming tunes, I sound like a promo, yeah, and harmonious vibes whether it's a lazy afternoon nap or a stormy night. I heart Radios. This is a different I'm just changing tone. This is my vo versative. Wow. iHeart radios. Pet Radio has the perfect soundtrack for your furry friend who rerects. So turn on pet Radio on your TV or smart speaker and let your pet relax for a while.
I feel like I just heard a live ad.
That was a free ad. Wow, from the voice of Whiskers.
I'm I'm very intrigued by this.
Yeah, So look, I'm looking forward to to hearing that. What else have we got going on.
What else?
Our favorite Flow, Flow Slow just had a birthday.
Yes, how old is Flow? I think flows ten. I thought I was gonna say, well, not she day, but around.
A couple of days ago. Yeah, oh my god, Flow.
Happy birthday, Happy birthday.
She has always got stories about her cats always.
I think Ginger Cat, and I forget the other one's name.
Isn't ginger Cat called red Cat?
No, it's Ginger Cat. I'm pretty sure it is.
Okay, next time we speak to us, Yeah, we'll get more information. Yeah, let's get her on the podcast.
Definitely.
Let's definitely get Flow on the podcast. Because we love Flow so.
Much, we really do, and she loves cats. She probably even more than we do, which is a lot.
I actually think she might love cats more than us, everything about cats, and I actually think she's more entertaining than us.
I absolutely agree.
Yeah, so she'll be taking our jobs doing this.
So and you know what, I'm happy for it. She deserves it, she deserves to take it. Take like we will be your mentors.
Yeah, we love you so much, we really do. What else is happening?
What else has happened?
Everything has happened. Literally, lots of cats that I've met lots of rescue cats that I've been meeting that I've been so cute fawning over all the time. Lots of cat videos, oh yeah, all thousands. Actually, we need to do a show just on the cat videos that we see, definitely, because you and I are just constantly sending each other. It's just all the time, cats, cats, cats, cats, cats always and yeah, so look we're gonna make a promise now. Yeah, we're gonna do this more regularly, promise because honestly, we love it and we love cats.
Yeah, and now we've got our brand new studio, the Two Girls, Three Cats Headquarters. We're ready, So.
Thank everybody for bearing with us, and we can't wait to get in your cat's ea holes.
Well said, Well said, Two Girls, Three Cats.
