From the small Iowa community of Spencer, Cody Gilmore fell in love with the sport of motocross at a young age, and at age 15 become just the 2nd Loretta Lynn's Amateur National Champion from Iowa. And then when he was beginning a pro career, he was diagnosed with cancer.
