Filter frontman Richard Patrick joins Chasta and Baby Huey of 107.7 The Bone at Aftershock Festival for an honest conversation about sobriety, ’90s nostalgia, Nine Inch Nails, Filter’s future and his new project, A Place to Kill.

Patrick celebrates 24 years of continuous sobriety and explains why being open about his addiction and recovery is important to him. He also looks back at the changing music industry, from the freedom and excess of the ’90s to Napster, streaming and the digital era.

Patrick reveals that Filter has a new album coming in 2027 and talks about A Place to Kill, his industrial trap-metal project with Jim LeVau.

Plus, he reflects on leaving Nine Inch Nails, betting on himself at 25 and ultimately creating a career that continues decades later.
