Chasta and Baby Huey sit down with Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo backstage at Aftershock Festival.

Dean reflects on STP’s incredible legacy, the resurgence of ’90s music, seeing three generations of fans in the crowd, and how he keeps the band’s classic songs evolving onstage.

He also talks candidly about vocalist Jeff Gutt and why having the right person in the band has brought him an immeasurable sense of “peace of mind.”

Plus, Dean discusses his new project One More Satellite, collaborating with Pete Shoulder, what’s coming next, and the surprising revelation that a third project is already in the works.

And Dean gets reflective about the deeper meaning of music and what it has given him throughout his life.
