Teresa’s son Wendolyn nominated his mum for a Random Act of Holiday Kindness. This is her story:
She is a single mom. She earns minimum wage and her money pays rent, food and little things only. She suffers from a chronic disease in her eyes and needs eye drops that she buys from Shoppers, she hasn't been able to buy them.
Together with the Niagara Regional Police, we gave her a $500 Shoppers Drug Mart Gift Card, a $200 Winners gift card, a $200 Loblaws gift card, a $50 Tim Horton’s Gift Card and a $50 McDonald’s gift card. Merry Christmas, Teresa!
