We talked to Travis and his mom Sam today!  Travis's Nana nominated this 10-year-old future entrepreneur for his tireless help with his younger brothers's schooling,  his mathematical know-how, ability to pen books and business plans in his down-time and for being all-around exceptional - and we've gotta say, we agree! 

This week we talked to Marcela and her awesome son Leo about how, despite being bullied for it, he spent two years growing his hair out for Wigs for Kids at BC Children's hospital AND raised money to have the wig made!

Ever sent a pic/a text/a voice message that you didn't mean to send? I did the other day. I didn't realize I was recording myself and someone I know got a thirty second snippet of me singing songs to myself about how how hungry I was. All things considered, it could have been worse, but it was definitely a face-palm moment. ~Jen

TW: Eating disorders Today we touched on a subject that I feel incredibly strongly about and I ended up sharing a deeply personal story. I shared because I know there are so many beautiful, amazing people out there dealing with the same things. Remember, you are so much more than the packaging you come in and all bodies are beautiful.

How do we get a piece of this pie?

28 year old woman invites 30 year old boyfriend to live with her for lockdown only to find that he can't aim for the toilet to save her life and her floor is ALWAYS WET. After several conversation that yield zero results she decides to put puppy pee pads around the toilet to solve the problem and he is ENRAGED, claiming she was calling him a dog and insulting him. We think she was actually being nicer than she needed to be! What would you have done in this situation? ~Jen and Daryl

Karen multi-tasked with the best of them this morning as she sold tickets at the Gabriola Ferry terminal AND played Pass the Class at the same time! She was an amazing sport and even though she didn't get her question right she still got a $25 gift card to Woodgrove AND a style session with one of their amazing stylists! Our local golden-piped high school student Lauren Spencer Smith joined us this morning to talk about her show at the Port Theatre tomorrow night, what her time on the Steve Harvey show was like and to sing us a song that, honestly, gave us all of the feels! ~Jen and Daryl
