He is the director/writer of the film American Fiction which won the award for "Best Adapted Screenplay" and when I saw him in a Propagandhi shirt, I HAD to have him on the podcast. They are back with a newly released LP and aren't shying away from being the charming weirdos they are. Duane and I discuss the concept of selling out, getting a scholarship for playing guitar (!) and working in a library.
