Do pronouns matter?  Should a person tell you what pronouns to use even if it is the opposite of the biological sex?  If you say no, would you continue doing it if the person told you it hurts when you do not use their preferred pronouns?  is it violence?  George and callers discuss guidelines from a campus group at the University of Colorado says you should not assume someone's pronouns and using the wrong one is an act of oppression and possibly violence.  Do you agree?   If it hurts them, what harm does it cause you to use their preferred pronouns?
