Half Moon Bay Housing Project Gets Greenlight After Weeks of Debate

Over a year since the mass shooting in Half Moon Bay, the farmworker community has been trying to rebuild itself. The tragedy put a spotlight on the difficult conditions there … especially the lack of AFFORDABLE HOUSING.

Getting projects approved has been a slow process…as it CAN be ANYWHERE. Just last week, city planning commissioners voted to greenlight a project after WEEKS of debate … following a threat of legal action by Governor Gavin Newsom.
