Friendship Line Helps Isolated Seniors

Many seniors are experiencing extreme isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the loss of daily activities and programs that helped them socialize. But luckily there is a hotline seniors can call in times of need. The Friendship Line is for non-emergency emotional support calls. It's part of the Institute on Aging, and it has been getting more calls as the pandemic and social distancing continues.
